When you book an appointment, we collect your name, email address, and phone number. If your service requires a waiver or intake form, we also record your acknowledgement and your answers — some of which may relate to your health (for example, skin sensitivities or allergies relevant to your service). This information is used solely to provide your service safely, manage your appointment, and communicate with you about it.
When you visit our website, Google Analytics collects anonymous data — such as pages visited, time on site, and general location — to help us understand how people find and use the site. No personally identifiable information is collected through analytics.
Payments are processed by Square. Your card number is entered directly into Square's secure payment form and never touches our servers — we only ever see the card brand and last four digits, alongside the payment record (amount, taxes, and tip).
For some services, our booking policy asks to keep a card securely on file with Square. We disclose this before you confirm your booking. A stored card may be charged a no-show fee in accordance with our cancellation policy; you'll always receive a receipt by email when this happens. You can ask us to remove a stored card at any time.
Your booking information is used to confirm your appointment, send reminders and follow-ups by email and SMS, process payments and refunds, and maintain records for the studio. We do not sell, rent, or share your personal information with third parties for marketing purposes.
To operate the booking system, process payments, and send notifications, we work with the following services:
Square — payment processing and secure card storage.
Supabase — secure storage of booking records.
Google Analytics — anonymous website analytics.
Resend — transactional email delivery.
Twilio — SMS notifications.
Each of these services processes data only as necessary to perform its function and is bound by its own privacy policy.
We keep booking and payment records for as long as needed to operate the studio and meet our legal and tax obligations. Intake form responses are retained while you remain a client so we can provide your services safely.
You may request access to, correction of, or deletion of your personal information at any time by contacting us directly. To opt out of Google Analytics tracking, you can use the Google Analytics Opt-out Browser Add-on.
